Dawn’s holistic therapy journey had an unusual start, when, at the hairdresser’s in 2003, a lady recommended Reiki as a way to help with her headache. Intrigued she booked her first Reiki treatment that day & shortly afterwards read “Reiki for Life” by Penelope Quest and was hooked, and over the next 3 years trained up to Reiki Master level.

During this time, she also completed a VTCT qualification in holistic therapies at Cheltenham College as she wanted to extend her skillset & work as a therapist.

(Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Reflexology & Indian Head Massage)

On completion in 2006 Dawn became a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) & has worked professionally as a therapist ever since.

Dawn has continued to develop her knowledge & expertise by training in more disciplines such as Hot Stones, Hopi Ear Candles, Organic Facials & most recently as a practitioner in Bowen Technique with European College of Bowen Studies (ECBS) 2012. In order to pass on her knowledge, she gained her Certificate of Education from Huddersfield University (2010) and went on to teach at Wakefield College.

Working as a practitioner & renting various spaces over the years, she realised how difficult it is for therapists to find a clean, safe and friendly working environment to treat their clients, so in 2011 she opened Satori.

Here are the treatments Dawn offers:
